Contracts & Business Advisory

Most disputes begin with a weak contract. We draft and review contracts in Arabic and English so your rights are clear before anything goes wrong.

We handle

  • Sale, lease, service and commercial contracts
  • Construction and engineering consultancy agreements
  • Partnership and shareholder agreements and company documents
  • Legal opinions and risk reviews before you sign
  • Legal notices and demand letters
  • Monthly retainers for SMEs

Situations we often see

  • “I was sent a contract to sign this week”

We review it, explain the clauses that matter and propose changes that protect you, within the time you have.

  • “We are bringing in a partner”

A clear partnership or shareholder agreement prevents the disputes that end most partnerships.

  • “We need a lawyer on call for the business”

A monthly retainer gives you agreed consultation hours, contract reviews and priority response.

How we approach it

  1. 01

    Understand the deal

We start with what you are trying to achieve, then draft to it.

  2. 02

    Bilingual precision

Arabic and English versions that say the same thing, with the governing language stated.

  3. 03

    Risks flagged plainly

Payment, liability, termination and dispute-resolution clauses explained in plain words.

  4. 04

    Ready for enforcement

Contracts written so that, if needed, they can be enforced quickly.

What to bring

  • The draft contract or term sheet
  • Company documents of both parties
  • Previous agreements between the parties
  • Your key commercial terms
  • Your deadline for signing
  • Any points you are unsure about

Questions clients ask

Should my contract be in Arabic?

Arabic is the language of the UAE onshore courts, and documents in other languages must be translated if a dispute reaches court. A bilingual contract that states which language prevails avoids arguments about translation later.

Can you review a contract quickly?

Yes. Tell us your deadline when you send it. We will confirm the time and fee for the review before we start.

What does a monthly retainer include?

A fixed monthly fee covering an agreed number of consultation hours, contract reviews and priority response. The scope is set out in writing.

Discuss your matter with an advocate

Send us a short summary of your matter. We confirm there is no conflict of interest, then ask for your documents. We aim to reply within one working day.
